'Another Place' - Antony Gormley

My French friends returned home on Sunday - probably why I'm looking so tired here!

We had a whirlwind few days. One of the highlights was driving to Crosby Beach to see the 100 life size cast iron figures - casts of the Artist Antony Gormley's own body.

The figures stand as if gazing out to sea - up to 1 kilometre out and the exhibition stretches for 3 kilometres along the shore! Amazing sight - a must see!

Olly waiting for the nice man to throw his ball!!
Stylish! :-)
Just throw it will ya.....
We all need hugs!
These jellyfish were everywhere....

Anyone else visited?

Precious Night's

We had a wonderful evening a week or so ago with our friend's who marry
next month in  Western Wedding style - that has come around so quickly.....

Kris had been busy making prop's for the wedding and they wanted to try
out some of the small details that will make their wedding so, well, their's!
Still lots of secrets though!!
Man talk...
Lot's of Lovin'
& this! As soon as I saw it I knew it was the work of Steve Blaylock -
turn's out it was an engagement present from his Daughter -
she and Leanne are good friend's
Wow - what a beautiful engagement present!

Gorgeous fun night!

Metal Art

En route to York at weekend 'C' & I just had to stop when we saw the most
beautiful metal sculptures at the side of the road.

It was 'The Old Blacksmith's Shop' near Harrogate. The artist Steve Blaylock
was there to chat with about his creations and the inspiration behind them.
They were just exquisite, enjoy!

See more of Steve's work here.
Picture's aren't great - forgot my camera, gggrrr...
