Fresh Air

Oh my days! I know I love to be outside, but I didn't know that it is a need, no want, no I HAVE TO BE OUTSIDE! I am like a cooped up chicken and the recovery after Hysterectomy book says that you can go for short walk after a few days - So off I went.

It felt so good. The smells of Autumn, the perfect season with it's beautiful jewelled colour scheme and it's opportunity to wrap up warm and layer those clothes.

I didn't go far, just far enough for a fix of the freshest air and the opportunity to clear my head, breathing deeply as I went. Divine. A few rain spatters meant I couldn't enjoy the hot vimto I had envisaged sitting outside - that can save till tomorrow!

Plumo Autumn

I'm a big Plumo lover & whilst I've been away their latest collection has dropped through my door.

I love the simple aesthetics, the photography backdrops, that the clothes have a raw edge to them, a little different. They also tend to be expensive. However, when I have bought (in the sale) I have always been impressed with the quality (and the compliments!)

So here, if money were no object (& if I had not spent Summer paring back all our my belongings including clothes) are my top picks;

Go To Dress

A week ago I had a Christening to go to. I rolled out of bed after a lovely lie in, stood gazing into my wardrobe thinking wth am I going to wear??? 

Out jumped this little number, not worn for quite a while & bought for my Brother's Wedding. It is one of my best ever buys. It is Day Birger Et Mikkelsen & I have worn it in Summer with strappy sandals, as here with patent ankle strap heels and also with tights & heels.

I never would have said I had a 'go to dress' but I suppose if I had this is it...here's to lots more occasions to pull it on!

Wardrobe essential!
