Finding My Flare

I'm sure everyone has noticed flares have made a comeback.
I love a good flare. I'm a seventies girl. & they look great with wedges, my shoe of choice for easy walking, height and no pinched toes :-)

I spoke about my word for this year, how I was going to sort out every drawer, cupboard and room in my house. In doing my bedroom I found not one but two pairs of flares.
Bonus - they fit me too after losing weight last year!!

Here is how I've been wearing mine - Fur jacket, Boden silk shirt & Lola Cruz
wedges for a meal to celebrate my 24th Wedding Anniversary!
Girly night (Said I love flares!)
Leopard print jacket, t-shirt & patent heels all Next.
Adding in my Oasis navy leather jacket & blanket scarf.....sooooo cold!
& in the day - call this my Aunty uniform! :-)
Hush jumperAsh Buckle Pumps,

Ready to go - in my cosy Belstaff Parka

& a gorgeous smiley boy!!

Jeans throughout are very old 7 for all mankind.

Of course I did send some things to the charity shop and will be putting a few things on good old Ebay.

So how about you? Will you be embracing flares this year?

Work Wear

I really struggle with work wear - I need an overhaul....
The clothes I wear are ME, I feel comfortable and confident in them,
*yet I feel I should have a separate wardrobe*

I would like to have separate clothes and really do try but it never works out,
the items I buy sneak into my 'home wear'.

Today I was complimented at work about my choice for today, so thought I'd show you!

Apologies for the poor quality photo's, more training needed!
I see blog's with four year old's taking better photo's - oh dear!!

& the compliment?
"I love how your socks match your jacket!!"

Any advice out there?

Shoes, Shoes, Shoes...

Ok, sssshhhhh, I have a secret! I have been known to spend a LOT of money on shoes (well by my standards anyway). Like a lot of women I probably buy the shoes first then style the outfit around them.

Anyway, on a slap dash trip to Asda at lunch time last week I laid my hands on these for a bargainous £8.00 - the beauty of them is you don't have to style an outfit around them - they'll go with pretty much anything. Comfy too!

Absolutely love me a bit of leopard print - adds interest so easily to a pair of jeans and
simple t-shirt.

I wear the anklet you can see all the time. The floral design on my feet are actually tattoo's which I had done after I had a Henna pattern and loved it. People think it is Henna when they see it!

Bye for now,
