In November the UK remembers all those who lost their lives in the
two World Wars and subsequent conflicts
(on the Sunday closest to the 11th of November).
It is also a time to remember ALL affected by conflict and unrest.
11th of November is Armistice Day, Remembrance Day or Poppy Day.
On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month 1918 the guns of the First World War fell silent after four years.
I wanted to share this picture which I took on holiday in Scotland in September.
The Commando Memorial is near Spean Bridge Village
and is one of Scotland's best-known monuments - a War Memorial,
but also a tourist attraction - visit, wander, gather thoughts and take in the
amazing views of Ben Nevis.
