Cooking With My Boy

This Christmas Day was the most chilled out I have EVER known
(apart from one year when we were on holiday!)

My Son had really gotten into the spirit of things, organising the menu and who was responsible for which course, laying the table & preparing the food.
It was great!

I loved that everyone was so relaxed & shared in ensuring everything went smoothly -
everyone just got on with it!!

So here's my boy at work - preparing 'devils on horseback', 'pigs in blankets' & asparagus wrapped in crispy bacon - delicious!
It's not just about the food, it's the memory -
we had such a good time cooking together!

Thank you 'L' - Love Ya's!

  2. Aw - that really is so lovely! He's lucky to have a mum who encourages him to cook. My wee man is almost 10 and I try to let him do as much in the kitchen as he can and he loves it. I always joke with him that he'll be the guy all his friends will want to live with when they're at uni as he will be such a good cook and I bet your son is the same! Ax
